Social peace, with its foundations, characteristics and features, represents the society Islam seeks. It is Islam that instils the meaning of social peace and its foundations, defines rights and duties and the values of good and evil, and establishes cooperation and mutual love between people; Islamic education calls people to strengthen human relationships and to spread love among themselves, so as to preserve the unity of society.
Social peace is therefore a religious necessity through which Muslims secure their right to a dignified life. It affirms social unity, removes divisions and strengthens intellectual and doctrinal consensus, with the state as guardian and servant of people's rights in every area of life: security, stability, food, health, education, housing and more. Hence the need to spread the concepts of social peace from an Islamic perspective, which can rescue Muslim society from fragmentation and division.
