Your satisfaction with your books comes first. If something is not right, you can return or exchange it within 14 days of delivery, on the terms below.
Your 14-day right of withdrawal
Under Turkish Consumer Protection Law no. 6502, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the order, without giving a reason.
Conditions for returns
- The book must be in its original condition: unused, unmarked, with no tears, folds or moisture damage.
- It must be returned in its shrink-wrap if it had one, and with all its parts.
- Please include your order number or a copy of the invoice in the parcel.
Damaged or wrong books
If a book arrives with a printing or binding defect, was damaged in transit, or is not the book you ordered, contact us within 14 days with a photo of the problem — we cover the full cost of the return and the replacement.
How to return
- Contact us through the contact page or at support@daretaiba.com with your order number, the books you wish to return and the reason.
- Within one business day we send you a confirmation, a return code and shipping instructions.
- Send the parcel with that code to our address: Mavera 1, Başakşehir, İstanbul.
- We inspect the books within two business days of arrival and email you the result.
Return shipping
If the return is due to a defect or a mistake on our side, we pay all shipping. For a change of mind, the return shipping is paid by the customer, and the original shipping fee is refunded only when the whole order is returned.
Refunds
We refund within 14 days of accepting the return, using the original payment method:
- Card: refunded to the same card; your bank may take a few more days to show it.
- Bank transfer and cash on delivery: transferred to an IBAN in your name, which we will ask you for.
As our prices are in US dollars and charged in Turkish lira, the refund is made in lira, exactly as paid.
Exchanges
You can exchange a book for another one from the store; if the price differs, we charge or refund the difference.
What cannot be returned
- Books that have been used, written in, or damaged after delivery.
- Books printed or bound to a customer's special order.
