What we collect
- Identity and contact details: name, email address, phone number.
- Delivery and billing details: address, city, postal code, and tax number for wholesale accounts.
- Order details: books purchased, amounts, payment method and status.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, cookies and browsing within the store.
We do not store your card details; payments are processed directly by a licensed, secure payment provider.
Why we process it
- To fulfil and ship your orders, issue invoices and provide after-sales service.
- To answer your questions and messages.
- To meet our legal and tax obligations.
- To send our newsletter and offers — only with your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To improve and secure the store and prevent fraud.
Sharing
We never sell your data. We share it only as far as necessary with carriers to deliver your order, the payment provider, technical and hosting providers, and public authorities where the law requires.
Retention
We keep data for as long as needed for its purpose and for the periods required by law (such as keeping invoice records for ten years), then delete or anonymise it.
Security
We use an encrypted connection (SSL), limited staff access and regular backups to protect your data from unauthorised access.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may learn whether your data is processed, request information about it, learn its purpose and the parties it was transferred to, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to the results of automated processing, and claim compensation for any damage.
