This book is the fifth part of the series al-La'ali al-Ghawali fi Dhikr al-Sanad al-'Ali, a fine series compiled by the author to make these works easy to read and to help revive the reading of the books of the Sunnah, especially in a time of weakened resolve.
The thulathiyyat are narrations with three narrators between the compiler and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. The author presents those of Abu Dawud, al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah from their Sunan, and those of al-Darimi from his Musnad, together with the thulathiyyat of Imam Ahmad shared with those of al-Bukhari and al-Darimi.
